About the Activity

What is Operation Epic Exercise?

Operation Epic Exercise is a three-day field training exercise where members gather to teach, train, and qualify new members in Ground Team Member qualifications. Members will train, eat, and sleep in the field for the most realistic training possible. 

 

This event is also intended to be an encampment preparatory activity for new members who have rarely spent nights away from home.

Eligibility Requirements

Participants:

Cadets:

• Possess Achievement 1 at the time of Application

• Have completed GES116 in eServices

 

Staff:

Cadets:

• Have completed GTM3 and have Skills Evaluator Training in eServices. 

 

Senior Members:

• Have completed Cadet Protection and show credit in eServices.

 

How to Apply

All participants in Operation Epic Exercise will use Registration Zone to apply for the activity. Upon the end of the application deadline, your application will be reviewed, and you will receive an email about the status of your application. If your application is approved, you will shortly receive reporting instructions, a packing list, and details for payment. Please remember to save your confirmation email.

Activity Completion Requirements

• Actively participate in 80% of the contact hours and not dismissed early for behavior

• Complete pre-work as directed

• The Activity Director determines course objectives met

Members will be expected to have all items required in the CAP 24-Hour Pack list.
